This Privacy Policy explains how Alarm Stacks (“the App”) handles information. The App is published by Alarm Stacks (“we”, “us”).
Summary
- We do not collect personal data in the App and we do not run any servers.
- Settings and routine data are stored on your device (and shared locally with the widget via an App Group).
- Purchases are processed by Apple’s App Store; we don’t receive your card details.
- Crash diagnostics may be shared by Apple if you opt in at the OS level; these are anonymised.
What the App does on your device
- Alarms & Timers (AlarmKit). We schedule alarms and countdown timers so they alert reliably, including during Silent/Focus. The App shows Live Activities on the Lock Screen/Dynamic Island.
- Notifications. We register notification categories (Stop/Snooze) and may schedule silent, passive notifications to implement snooze. We do not use remote push notifications.
- Background tasks. We register permitted background tasks to prepare alarms for reliability.
- App Intents & Shortcuts. You can create/start stacks via Shortcuts. Siri/Intents processing is handled by Apple.
- On-device routine generation (optional). If you use it, text is processed by Apple’s on-device models; no data is sent to our servers.
- App Group. We use an App Group (e.g.,
group.com.hodlsimulator.alarmstacks
) to share minimal state between the app and its extensions on your device. This does not transmit data to us.
Information we don’t collect
We don’t collect your name, email, contacts, precise location, identifiers for tracking, or any routine content. The App has no third-party analytics SDKs and no advertising.
Purchases
We offer in-app purchases/subscriptions via StoreKit. Apple processes payment; we receive transaction status/entitlement information only, used to unlock features you’ve bought.
Crash reports & diagnostics
If you enable “Share with App Developers” in iOS, Apple may provide anonymised crash logs so we can improve stability. We cannot identify you from these logs.
Children
The App is not directed at children under 13. If a parent/guardian contacts us regarding information sent via email, we will delete it.
Your choices
- Delete local data: delete the app from your device.
- Notifications: you can change notification permissions in iOS Settings → Notifications.
- Live Activities: control Lock Screen/Dynamic Island visibility in Settings.
- Purchases: you can restore purchases from within the app.
